DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Atlantic 10 Conference is reporting that Archie Miller will remain as head coach of the University of Dayton men’s basketball program.

The A-10 says on its web site that his contract was extended through the 2021-22 basketball season. Financial terms were not released.

Miller led the Flyers to five NCAA Tournament wins in the last two years, including a run to the Elite Eight last year. They made it into the top 32 teams this year.

The A-10 says Miller is a semifinalist for two national coach of the year awards.

Miller, 36, just completed his fourth season with the Flyers with a 27-9 overall record.
