FAIRBORN, Ohio (WDTN) – The northbound lanes of I-675 are now open near Ohio Route 235 after road crews cleared the scene of an overturned semi truck.
OSP and Fairborn police and fire were called to the crash around 2:30 a.m. Thursday. The driver lost control and crashed, causing the rig to tip over.
Investigators say the truck was carrying a load of lighter fluid and charcoal, making the clean-up slow and cumbersome.
The driver was not hurt, but he was charged with failure to control his rig.
The Ohio Department of Transportation had to replace about 500 feet of new guardrail.
Traffic is back flowing through the area.
