KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – T.J. Maxx is opening up shop at the Town &Country Shopping Center in Kettering.
Developers say the retailer signed a lease for a 23,000 square foot space in the mall.

It’s all part of a $7,000,000 renovation project throughout the shopping center.
The Joseph A. Banks store will relocate within the mall and expand. Other stores like Trader Joe’s have already begun renovations.
“Its time, it was time for renovation. Its been 20 some years since the center has been remodeled or we last did renovations in some form or fashion, so its definitely time” Molly McGinnis, Town & Country marketing coordinator.
“We’ve always thought this was a great location thats why we have been here for so long and its central located its easy access, in and out. We’re behind Town and Country 100 percent” said Chris Roderer, manager of Roderer shoes.
T.J. Maxx hopes to open for business by the end of 2016.
