DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The man accused of impersonating a police officer was indicted by a grand jury Friday.

Two others were also indicted in the case.

Jason Harrold, 34, is charged with impersonating an officer, a count of aggravated burglary, aggravated robbery and a count of abduction.

Nikole Reigelsperger, 29, and Jacob Reigelsperger, 29, are now charged with aggravated robbery and drug possession.

Prosecutors say Harrold was dressed like a cop when he robbed two people staying a hotel in Harrison Township. They say he told the victims he was looking for people who had warrants out for their arrests. Harrold was a former employee of the hotel.

The Reigelspergers are accused of robbing someone in their home alongside Harrold who was claiming to be a police officer at the time. Prosecutors say the victim at the Burgess Avenue address was handcuffed during the incident.

All three are being held in the Montgomery County Jail. They are scheduled into court March 31.
