P&G distribution center holds job fair

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Exel, The third party company that handles logictics for the center held a job fair at the Dayton Airport Expo Center Thursday.

Since opening in Febuary they have hired almost 400 people and are looking to hire a couple hunded more.

“We’re identifying individuals in a gradual pace to make sure that they’re getting adequate training,” said Exel General Manager, Joe Kutka. “We didn’t want to bring on 600 at once, because we wanted to make sure that they were properly certified and trained on the pieces of equipment. It’s a large facility with brand new pieces of equipment so to ensure proper training, we’re bringing them in gradually to get the head count that we need.”

Anyone who misses the job fair can also apply online.
