DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Some tthunderstorms are brewing Thursday evening, although the chance for something in the severe category is minimal.
A cold front sweeping through can trigger a line of storms.
Storm Team 2 says our risk for severe storms is in the low category on the severe weather index.
“We could see some heavy rain and hear some rumbles of thunder,” said Storm Team 2 Chief Meteorologist Brian Davis.
More rain is coming in for Friday. It could be heavy at times and drop up to two inches in some areas. Southern counties including Warren, Butler and Clinton counties have the best chance for flooding. A Flood Watch is in effect from 8:00 p.m. Thursday through Friday evening.
It should dry out for the Easter weekend.
