DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Rain couldn’t stop the annual Good Friday Walk for Justice and Peace in downtown Dayton.

The walk began at noon Friday at the old courthouse in the heart of the city.

Marchers bring light to issues that challenge our community. They stop at 14 different stations in remembrance of the Stations of the Cross. Each cross carried raising awareness about issues like debt, homelessness, racism, murder and others.

About 200 people marched last year. The rain did appear to keep the crowd small this year.
