BETHEL TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – A screaming woman alerted deputies to a theft in Clark County.
Deputies were on Milton-Carlisle Road Thursday night investigating reports of a suspicious car that was driving up and down the street. They spotted the car described parked in a driveway in the 200 block.
They then heard the screams and found the woman in her back yard. She told them someone just broke into her home and stole several items.
Officers say they found Margaret Gant, 28, and Denver Carson, 22, nearby covered in mud. They say the two admitted to breaking into the home while they were being questioned.
Both suspects are charged with burglary and possession of criminal tools. They are in the Clark County Jail.
