HARRISON TOWNSHIP, Ohio (WDTN) — The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office’s search for a missing endangered adult has come to an end.

Officials said James Elliott, 58, has been found safe after he walked away from Riverside Healthcare Center, 1390 King Tree Drive in Harrison Township, around 1 p.m. Friday.

Deputies said Elliott has a history of mental illness and a history of other medical issues and left the facility without his medications, which is why they asked for the public’s help in locating him.
