BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – Beavercreek officials say ODOT’s contract says the bridge project should be complete by late May.

But it seems like there may be a delay for various reasons, which means a completion date is more likely in early June.

Nonetheless, ODOT and Beavercreek officials say progress is happening.

The concrete deck has been paved, and local officials say every day the contractors are closer to completing the bridge.

2 NEWS had the chance to look at the full renderings of what this bridge will look like.

The bridge itself will be 467 feet long and 12 feet wide once complete.

It’s a $3.1 million dollar bridge.

Local officials say it’s connecting two major cities, but it’s also creating a much-needed safety measure.
