BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – Bend Active has shut down its store at the Mall at Fairfield Commons and will open in larger quarters at The Greene Town Center.
The clothing store that specializes in fitness wear will move into a 2,900-square-foot space at 4465 Glengarry Drive that formerly held an Aeropostale store, which closed earlier this year. Bend Active shut down its location in the Mall at Fairfield Commons a few weeks ago, according to Johnny Campbell, business developer for Columbus-based Bend Active.
The retailer’s new store at The Greene will be nearly three times the size of the previous store, and will offer fitness classes according to
Laura Heller co-owner of Bend.
The new Beavercreek store is scheduled to open on or around May 6. It will have about 10 employees.
The store will specialize in flexible, strong clothing with a “fitness meets fashion” concept. The new location at The Greene will host complimentary classes in yoga, Pilates, fitness and general wellness, and will collaborate with local yoga and fitness studios and instructors.
Bend Active also operates a store on Lane Avenue near the campus of Ohio State University.
