BEAVERCREEK, Ohio (WDTN) – The Beavercreek natural path meditation center opened its new expansion Thursday on Lantz Road.
The new addition fits about 300 additional people to meditate. Space they needed because of growth.
“Mindfulness meditation is expanding like crazy. It’s greatly needed in the community,” said heartfulness meditation regional manager Janmarie Connor. “We’re seeing it in education, in the prison system, we’re seeing it in city government.”
Beavercreek mayor Brian Jarvis was also there.
“As the community grows as people get busier in the lives. They’re busy with work they’re busy with school, with their kids. They opportunity to relax just isn’t there anymore,” said Jarvis. “So the chance to just come here and be able just to meditate a few days a week perhaps will help our community.”
