WILMINGTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The Clinton County YMCA is closing its doors for good at the end of May.

In a letter to members, YMCA Board of Directors says they do not have the financial resources to keep it open.

“To say that this was not an easy decision is an understatement considering that this organization has served our community since the late 1970s,” the board says in the letter.

They say they are working on alternative facilities where members can go once the facility closes.

Anyone that has paid dues past the May 30 closing date will receive a pro-rated refund.
