Deputies investigate New Carlisle bank robbery

NEW CARLISLE, Ohio (WDTN) – The Clark County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a bank robbery.

According to deputies, the New Carlisle Federal Savings Bank located at 400 North Main Street was robbed around 6:00 p.m. Friday.

An employee said a woman walked into the bank, walked up to a teller and demanded money. The teller said the woman told her she had a gun but never showed the weapon.

The suspect left the bank after reportedly receiving an unknown amount of cash.

Officials said she was wearing a dark colored sweatshirt, blue jeans, and sunglasses.

Officers searched the area, but didn’t find the suspect.
