MIAMI TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – Ohio’s Attorney General is launching a new campaign to call attention to elder abuse. Billboards are going up statewide for Older Americans Month.

The billboards encourage loved ones to report possible abuse, neglect, or financial exploitation of an older relative.

Mike DeWine will officially launch the campaign Friday morning by the Dayton Mall.

In 2014, DeWine created the Elder Justice Initiative to increase the investigation and prosecution of elder abuse cases and improve victims’ access to services.
