Teen walks to home to call for help after rolling car

DARKE COUNTY, Ohio (WDTN) — The Darke County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a rollover accident that injured a teen driver.

The crash happened around 5 a.m. Sunday in the 4000 block of State Route 121.

According to deputies, a 2002 silver Hyundai Sonata missed a curve, went off the road into a field, and rolled multiple times.

Officials said the 17-year-old driver walked to a nearby home to call 911.

The teen was taken to Wayne Hospital with serious injuries.

The crash remains under investigation.
