DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The man who took Linda Wing to the hospital has been identified.

Officers were called to Grandview Hospital Saturday to investigate. The woman, Linda Wing, 28, died a couple hours after she arrived.

Deputies say they found evidence of a child born at 2209 Chamberlin Avenue in Harrison Township. A coroner investigator believes that the woman had a miscarriage and was under the influence of heroin at the time.

Her cause of death may take several weeks to confirm.  We reached out to the coroner’s office about the child’s age.  They could provide us few details.

Police tells 2 News man only gave Wing a ride to the hospital and nothing else to add.  The Montgomery County Sheriff’s Office is still investigating.
