DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton man’s effort to raise awareness about marijuana legalization took a big step forward.

Apple just approved the Green Fight app now available on your smart phone.

Brice Keller brought his idea for the app to 2 NEWS back in April.  He wants the app to be a catalyst for the legalization of marijuana in Ohio. He hopes activists will use it as a way to express ideas about reform.

ResponsibleOhio is one group working to legalize marijuana in Ohio. It is working now to gather enough signatures to get a proposal on the November ballot. Keller says his app is a perfect outlet to help make it happen.

Keller is a lawyer and veteran who uses marijuana medically to treat post traumatic stress disorder.
