BOSTON, Mass. (WDTN/AP) – Deflate-gate is rearing its ugly head again.  The NFL now says it believes the New England Patriots deliberately deflated footballs for a playoff championship game.

It also says it believes Brady was “generally aware” of it happening.

The NFL began to investigate after the Patriots won the AFC Championship game in January against the Indianapolis Colts.

The Colts complained that several balls were deflated.

A report released Wednesday says there is no evidence that head coach Bill Belichick and the management team knew about the practice of deflating balls to make them easier to hold. provides commenting to allow for constructive discussion on the stories we cover.
