NORTH RIDGEVILLE, Ohio (AP) — A Loraine county coroner says a woman who police allege was killed by her mother in March was suffocated.
The coroner and law enforcement officials held a news conference Wednesday to discuss the Tuesday arrest of 45-year-old Janet Tyburski. She is charged with murder in the death of 26-year-old Rachele Tyburski, whose body was found March 15 in North Ridgeville, west of Cleveland.
A North Ridgeville police detective said Wednesday that it’s believed Janet Tyburski killed her daughter March 13 at a home they shared in the Cleveland suburb of Lakewood and that she dumped the body in a field two days later. Police would not discuss a possible motive for the killing.
Janet Tyburski was ordered held without bond Wednesday. A judge is expected to assign her an attorney.
