KETTERING, Ohio (WDTN) – Kettering detectives have located an SUV that rammed a police cruiser.

Officers found the black Suburban parked in a driveway on Mesmer Avenue in Dayton.

The cruiser was rammed Tuesday at the Belmont Coin and Jewelry on Wilmington Pike. Officers went there after Sugarcreek officers got a tip that a burglary suspect they were after was there.

Kettering police said the man was there, but did not stop for them. They say he rammed the cruiser as he left the business.

The police officer was not hurt. There is no indication right now that the man’s been located.

Police say he most likely will face charges when he’s found.
