DAYTON , Ohio (WDTN) – The Dayton Police and SWAT team searched a home in the 3600 block of Otterbein Avenue Wednesday morning.
Lt. James G. Mullins of the Dayton Police Department tells 2 News 43-year old Rondric Bogan was taken into custody without incident.
Police say the man was selling heroin and cocaine from the home. Police are also questioning a woman who was in the house.
A woman who lives in the neighborhood told 2 NEWS that the incident was scary, but despite police efforts she doesn’t believe the drug problem will go away.
“Its going to still happen regardless, its still going to be in this, its everywhere, not just Otterbein, its everywhere” said a neighbor.
. Lt. Mullins says the drug problem goes in waves but the Dayton police are committed to cleaning up the problem.
“The neighbors get to see that we are out here doing something about it, they see us out here and they say great, the police are out here, its not like we’re ignoring it, we are coming out to take care of it, it just takes a little time” said Lt. Mullins, Dayton Police Department.
