Shot fired through front door of Dayton home

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Officers are looking into who fired a shot through a woman’s front door.

Police were called to the 3100 block of Wexford Place Saturday around 6 a.m.

When officers arrived, they found a bullet hole through the front door. According to officials, the screen door had been shot with a large caliber bullet.

Police recovered the bullet from the scene.

Officials tried to speak with neighbors, but no one was home.

Dayton Police are still looking for suspects.
