7.3 magnitude earthquake hits Nepal

KATHMANDU, Nepal (AP) — Nepal’s Home Ministry says at least 19 have been people killed and 981 injured in an earthquake, less than three weeks after a temblor that killed more than 8,100.

The latest magnitude 7.3 quake hit a remote region near the Chinese border.

A spokesman with the International Organization for Migration says several buildings collapsed in an isolated town that’s now a hub for humanitarian aid since the April quake.
