DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton woman connected to the death of Nichelle McKnight and the disappearance of her son, Zaden, was arraigned Tuesday.

Tonisha Harris pleaded not guilty to tampering with evidence, failure to report a crime and gross abuse of a corpse.

Police say Harris and McKnight’s estranged boyfriend, Antwan Anderson, were stealing money from McKnight, who later found out.

Harris is currently serving a 10 month sentence for identity theft.

She is expected back in court next week.
