SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – Two inmates at the Clark County Jail overdosed behind bars.

Deputies say medics were called to the jail Saturday after Jacob Holland became unresponsive.

Another inmate, Lucas Fowler, also became ill.

Both men were rushed to the hospital where they were treated and released for apparent heroin overdoses.

Deputies says a third inmate, Curtis Robinson, Jr. is now accused of supplying the drugs.

They say Holland and Fowler exchanged some commissary items in exchange for the drugs.

Robinson is now charged with trafficking drugs. He is set to be arraigned May 15.

Holland and Fowler are now charged with drug possession. They are scheduled into court May 14.
