Dayton apartments evacuated after fire

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Firefighters evacuate an apartment complex after a fire breaks out.

Crews were called to the 800 block of Wilmington Avenue in Dayton around 11:40 Tuesday night.

They found flames coming from the second floor. Firefighters had to break down several doors during their search of the building.

All the residents got out safely, but several were given oxygen after inhaling smoke.

Two fire investigators were called to the scene.
