Sisters, friend on a mission for donors

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – The SAM tour is rolling through Dayton. It stands for Sharing America’s Marrow. It was started by sisters Sam and Alex Kimura and their friend Taylor Shorten. The young women say too many people who need bone marrow transplants can’t find a match, and that includes co-founder Sam.

They say people don’t know that they could potentially save a life by being a bone marrow donor. So, they’ve hit the road with their tour; swabbing donors in all 50 states.
