DC slayings suspect caught

WASHINGTON (AP) — Authorities in the nation’s capital have arrested a suspect in last week’s slayings of a corporate executive, his wife, their 10-year-old son and a housekeeper at a Washington mansion in the same area as the vice president’s official residence.

The suspect, Daron Dylon Wint, had previously worked for Maryland-based American Iron Works, where the executive — Savvas Savopoulos — was CEO.

Wint, a native of Guyana, is a former Marine. He was arrested Thursday night in Washington.
