Highway bridges are crumbling around us

As millions of Americans head out for Memorial Day trips, thousands of highway bridges across the USA are in dire need of repairs, some crumbling so badly they’re deemed deficient. But repairs and replacements will cost over $70 billion, and lawmakers are struggling to find new sources of funding as the federal gas tax isn’t sufficient.
