Pizza driver robbed while making delivery

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are investigating after a Domino’s Pizza delivery driver was robbed.

Officers met with the victim at the Domino’s Pizza located at 4399 West Third Street.

The victim told police he was making a delivery around 12 a.m. Sunday to a house on Bragg Place off West Stewart Street.

He said a man loitering with a group of people in the area walked over to him and asked if he had any change. The driver told the man he didn’t carry change, but the suspect grabbed the money the driver had in his hand. The driver told police the man said, “Come on. Don’t do this,” and reached toward his waistband implying he had a weapon. The suspect fled with the money.

Police determined the suspect got away with abut $60.

The driver wasn’t injured.
