Police looking for trio of robbery suspects

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police are looking for a trio of robbery suspects.

The victim told police he walked to the Shell gas station located at 3707 Germantown Pike to buy some candy Saturday after 10:30 p.m.

He said as he left the store and started walking back to his apartment he was approached by three men wearing hooded sweatshirts over their faces. The victim said one of the men then pulled out a gun, but he told the suspects he didn’t have any money and emptied his pockets. He said the man then hit him in the face with the gun and took his cigarettes and candy and fled.

Police called a medic to treat the cut on the victim’s forehead.

No arrests have been made.

Police are checking if surveillance cameras in the area captured the incident.
