LEBANON, Ohio (WDTN) – The parents of a boy found wandering in Lebanon Sunday are facing charges.

David Locke is charged with a count of child endangering. The boy’s mother, Mekeshia Lattimore has a warrant out for her arrest on a count of child endangering.

The 11-year-old boy was found near 550 West Main Street. Officers say he was unable to communicate and appeared to be developmentally disabled.

Officers could not identify the boy for some time, releasing his photo to the public in hopes someone might recognize him.

They finally were able to find the boy’s custodial parents.

The boy is in the care of Butler County Children Services.
