They are accused of botching a contract killing in 2006 that ended with the wrong man murdered.

The Geauga County Sheriff’s Office says Joseph Rosebrook was in jail and hired Chad South to kill a witness against him. Prosecutors say South killed the wrong man. They say he was told to kill a man named Daniel Ott. South is accused of killing the wrong man with the same name at a home in Burton Township, outside of Cleveland.

All three men are in jail in Geauga County.
