Subject of Silver Alert found in Columbus

JAMESTOWN, Ohio (WDTN) – An 87-year-old man who was reported missing has been found safe in Columbus.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office issued a Silver Alert for John Farrell on Wednesday after his family became concerned.

Farrell is from Scioto County. He was supposed to pick up his brother in Jamestown Tuesday to go fishing at Caesar Creek Lake, but never arrived.

The Greene County Sheriff’s Office sent a notification early Thursday that Farrell had been located and his family was on his way to pick him up.
