OXFORD, Ohio (WDTN) – A fire damaged dorms at Miami University Monday afternoon.

Flames sparked in the attic of Swing Hall on Talawanda Street around noon.  The fire was contained to one wing of the building.

The building houses nearly 300 students during the school year, but was vacant this afternoon.

No word on the extent of damage. No one was hurt.
