DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton firefighters only needed about a half hour to get a vacant house fire under control Monday.

Crews arrived at 722 Ingram Street just after 5:30 p.m. to find the house fully engulfed.

They say the heat did make battling the fire tougher than usual.  Firefighters say passersby were offering them water as the fought the flames.

Investigators consider the fire suspicious.

No one was hurt.
