Dayton interfaith community prays for Charleston victims

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — A group of people gathered in Dayton to pray for the victims of the Charleston community.

An Interfaith prayer vigil was held Saturday morning at the Dayton Gurdwara Sahib, Skih Temple, located at 2320 Harshman Road.

Dayton’s Interfaith community gathered to mourn the nine victims murdered at the Emanuel AME Church in Charleston, South Carolina when a gunman opened fire Wednesday.

Organizers say it’s important to unite in solidarity against hatred.
