Robbery suspect fires shot at store owner

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Dayton police are looking for a robbery suspect who fired off a shot that narrowly missed a convenient store owner.

Police say the suspect walked into the Gas-N-Go store in the 3400 block of Linden Avenue Sunday night.

He told the clerk he wanted three packs of cigarettes then pulled a gun. A police report says the suspect struggled with the store owner and fired a shot. No one was hit.

Police say the man fled with about $180 and the cigarettes.

The suspect is described as 5’6″, 215 pounds, in his mid 30s. He has a receding hairline.

He was wearing a white hooded jacked with a black design, black jeans and black tennis shoes at the time of the robbery.
