Wanted sex offender arrested in Clark County

SPRINGFIELD, Ohio (WDTN) – Springfield Police arrested a sex offender who was wanted for failure to register his address.

Aaron Michael McElroy was arrested around 3:00 a.m. by Springfield Police and taken to the Clark County Jail.

Back in May McElroy was being sought for failure to register his address as he is required to do.

McElroy pleaded not guilty in Clark County Municipal Court on Tuesday. He is being held in the county jail on $5000 bond.
