DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – A Dayton man was convicted in federal court Thursday of sharing out child pornography on the internet.
Demian Pina, 34, was found guilty of distribution and possession of child pornography.
An undercover investigation that began in November 2010 through June 2013 found a trail of evidence that led to Pina. Investigators say he was distributing the porn on a peer-to-peer network.
A raid conducted at Pina’s home in June 2013 turned up images and videos of child pornography.
His trial started in May. The guilty verdict was returned on June 25. A jury found him guilty of all seven counts against him.
Pina faces up to 20 years in prison on the distribution counts and up to 10 years on the possession counts.
He will be sentenced October 16.
