COLUMBUS, Ohio (WDTN) – The Ohio Supreme Court rejected the appeal of a former emergency room doctor convicted of raping children.

Keith Goldblum, 61, of Washington Township, is in prison serving 21 years for the crimes.

He was convicted of sexually assaulting four of his daughter’s friends. Prosecutors say the assaults occurred between 2002 and 2011 during sleepovers and slumber parties.

Goldblum was convicted of raping two of the victims for many years.

A jury found him guilty on eight counts of rape of a child under 13 years old, two counts of unlawful sexual conduct with a minor and voyeurism.

Goldblum was also labeled a Tier II sex offender and a sexually oriented offender that requires him to register his address with authorities every six months upon release from prison.

His medical license was suspended. The Ohio Supreme Court refused to hear any further appeals.
