Firework explosion suspect in custody

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Montgomery County deputies have a man in custody for a fireworks explosion at a local fast food eatery.

Deputies say the suspect turned himself in Friday.

He is accused of setting off a commercial grad firework near the Hardees at 2500 Needmore Road on Thursday.

His name has not been released while prosecutors consider charges.

The explosive went off near a dumpster. No one was hurt and there was no damage.
