Trotwood city manager announces retirement

TROTWOOD, Ohio (WDTN) – Trotwood City Manager Michael Lucking announced his retirement Friday.

He served the city for ten years. His retirement is effective July 31.

“It has been my pleasure to serve the citizens of Trotwood, Ohio for nearly 17 years,” said Lucking. “I am forever grateful for the experience and, in particular, the opportunity to lead.”

Public Safety Director/Deputy City Manager Quincy Pope, Sr. will serve as interim while a search is underway to find a new leader.

Lucking says he is ready to begin a new chapter in his personal and professional life.
