Amnesty for pet owners in Montgomery County

DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – An amnesty period for pet owners is about to begin in Montgomery County.

Dog owners will be able to get a license for their animal without paying penalty fees.

The amnesty period runs July 1 though July 12.

Owners whose dogs have been spayed or neutered will pay a $20.00 fee.

Animals that are not neutered or spayed will pay $24.00.
