Belton indicted for murder of sister’s fiance

MIAMI TWP., Ohio (WDTN) – A man accused of killing his sister’s fiance was indicted by a Montgomery County grand jury Tuesday.

Emanuel Belton, Jr., 31, faces multiple charges including murder, felonious assault and aggravated burglary.

He was arrested in January 2015 after spending two years on the run. U.S. marshals found him in Nashville, Tennessee.

Belton is accused of forcing his way into his sister’s Miami Township apartment in January 2013 then shooting her fiance, Terrance Williams to death. Tips to Crime Stoppers helped lead marshals to him.
