DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) — Dayton Police respond to a fast-food restaurant inside a truck stop after a customer brandishes a weapon.
Police were called to the Hardee’s at the Love’s Truck Stop located at 2217 South Edwin C Moses Boulevard Sunday after 5 a.m.
According to employees, a car pulled through the Hardee’s drive-thru. Workers said after they took the customers’ order, the customers began yelling and cursing about the food. When a drive-thru employee handed the men their drinks, the worker said the man in the passenger seat flashed a gun at him. Employees notified security and then called Dayton Police.
Workers said the suspects never demanded money when brandishing the gun.
When police arrived, the vehicle fled on South Edwin C Moses Boulevard.
The incident remains under investigation.
