DAYTON, Ohio (WDTN) – Heavy rain and some thunderstorms moved across the Miami Valley late Tuesday afternoon into the evening.

A cold front moved into our region triggering heavy rain and some thunderstorms.  We are under a marginal risk for severe storms.

“We do have a marginal risk for a severe storm in some areas,” said Storm Team 2 Meteorologist Jamie Jarosik. “Could be some rain in the morning, but the better chance for storms is Tuesday afternoon. The heavier rain will be embedded in a bigger rain system.”

The high Tuesday is 84, but once that cold front moves through, we’re looking at a high of 74 on Wednesday.

The Miami Valley is back in a wet pattern for the rest of the work week, so you’ll want to keep Storm Team 2 handy.

The best way to do that is with our Storm Team 2 weather app and breaking text alerts.
