CENTERVILLE, Ohio (WDTN) – More improvements are coming to a section of Wilmington Pike by the Cornerstone of Centerville development.

ODOT crews are starting a widening project that will include constructing outside lanes, curb, sidewalk and storm sewer under the I-675 overpass.

Traffic will be reduced to one lane in each direction except during peak drive times. Two lanes will be open from 7 to 8:30 a.m. and 4:30 to 6:30 p.m.

Officials say the project should ease access onto I-675.

Work is expected to be completed by December 1, 2015.

Crews recently completed Phase I for northbound Wilmington Pike near the Home Depot entrance and northward to Dille Drive. Phase II will continue to widen Wilmington Pike from I-675 to Brown Road.
