DAYTON, Ohio, (WDTN) – Dayton firefighters worked Tuesday night to put out multiple small fires inside what appears to be a vacant house.
Neighbors reported seeing the smoke just before 8 p.m. at a house in the 900 block of Ferndale Avenue. Initially, they thought someone was inside but when investigators got to the scene, they determine the house was vacant.
Inside, they found multiple small fires on the second story.
Fire crews say the blazes may have been set by kids but an investigator is working to determine exactly what happened.
